One of the biggest problems with MLM is so many focus on building sales teams and not enough time developing a customer base this is why so many MLM had gotten a bad name.

Look at McDonalds do they try to get you to buy a franchise everytime you go? No they sell you fast food and let the business minded one approach them. You should do the same thing in build your Visalus business. You should focus on building a strong customer base in Visalus.

Visalus offers challenge parties these are great event to have fun with friends and build your Visalus business but I would also suggest that you use some real true marketing.

I have been working in marketing for about 10 years. I started in a MLM just like Visalus then moved on working with big marketing firms the biggest was a 400 million TV info commercial company.

With all my years in marketing there is 1 strategy that is more power than anything else out there. You should also use the strategy to build you Visalus business #1 it is not hard to set up and #2 if you do it yourself it is not that expensive.

E-Myth calls this a marketing system people confuse sales with marketing, marketing is a system of selling so it is the system that is doing the selling not you.

Step #1 generate Visalus leads #2 Provide FREE education that highlights the importance of why a person should want to buy Visalus products and #3 Use an automated follow up system that highlights the importance why a person should buy Visalus and continue using Visalus.

You have spent all this time and money going to dental school right. But what they did not teach you is how to market your dental business.

Which only gives you 2 options #1 hire an expert dental marketer. The downside to this is a lot of people who claim to be dental marketing experts they are just great web designers, graphic artist, or maybe they know how to use all the tech tools.

I have been studying marketing for about 10 years one thing I don’t not understand why insurance companies are marketing themselves the way they are even the big companies.

If you have been in marketing long enough you will hear the term sell by price die by price. Selling by price value message is the worst thing you can do because this is a very hard battle to win.

Because you can’t always be the cheapest insurance company I really like the was Geico does their insurance marketing.

They do not say they are the cheapest they don’t say they are the best they say they are easy because you can just go online.

They have taken price out of their insurance marketing.

I’m sure locally you have see insurance companies distribute post car at home at on car windshields. They use the same message low insurance rates, cheap insurance.

As I just said you want to look at another way in order to market your insurance.

Most insurance companies are focusing on auto insurance because auto insurance is easy to sell. What you should do is focus on a certain market of insurance.

An example would be commercial insurance, event insurance, life insurance, and so on…

As we stated in our last life insurance marketing article when we generate a lead we do not want to offer a quote another reason for this is only 2% of the population at any given moment is ready to buy.

If you offer them something of value for FREE that they would be interested in before they are ready to buy. They would be interested in that. Reports show buy using this type of life insurance marketing you can move from 2% who are ready to buy to 80% who are ready to buy.

Normally this is done by giving away FREE information this FREE information does not sell but rather educates your prospects and highlights the importance of why a person should buy your insurance.

This FREE information could be given away through such media as: books, E-book, CD, DVD, MP3 audios, and videos.

Companies like Bank of America, American Express, Disney, and others use this type of marketing and you should be using it in your insurance marketing. Otherwise you are losing 80% of the sales you could be making.

Another issue we will talk about in future articles is what you do with your insurance leads if they do not buy. In most cases they end up in the trash. You might have lost the sale today but most likely if you do what is talked about in these articles when it is time to renew next time they will get their insurance with you.
